Purple Fete service team includes a Service Director, and several individual concierges that help manage your onsite experience. Heading the service team is Susan Pennington who will be supported by onsite caretakers and concierges.

Car rentals delivered right to your door
We can arrange to have a car waiting for you at your Tuscan vacation home. Possibilities include everything from compacts, luxury sedans, and Mercedes vans.
Catering in the comfort of your Tuscan Villa
How about having someone prepare a delicious meal for you in the comfort of your Tuscan home, the preparation that you can watch under your very own eyes. Whether this service is for that special celebration or simply for when you return from a wonderful but weary day of sightseeing to find the table laid and all ready and waiting for you (isn’t this what vacations are supposed to be about). We have various menus available to suit your palate and the occasion.
Bicycle rentals & Horse back riding
The Tuscan Countryside is the perfect place to explore by bike or horse and a great starting point for the more adventurous traveler. Beautiful woodlands with great trails and lovely spots for picnicking surround us. Horse you will be accompanying by a professional guide provides hats and full insurance. For those who would like to rent bikes, you can have a day with a guide or we can provide itineraries for those who want to venture further a field alone. Rentals are available by the day or week… whichever takes your fancy or fits into your itinerary.
Cooking classes for both adults and kids
Food is such an integral part of the Tuscan lifestyle and we are happy to be able to share with your some of those close kept secrets. For adults depending on the number of participants we offer both demonstration and hands on classes. All are based on traditional cuisine, using only the best and freshest seasonal produce. You can learn to create simple but delicious antipasti, make pasta with your very own hands, and indulge in those wonderful desserts. After gathering around the table altogether to enjoy the fruits of your work. Classes are informal and fun, after all that’s what the joy of life is all about.
We are also delighted to offer ‘Cooking for kids’. A three house session when kids call roll up their sleeves and don an apron to help in the kitchen. Children will learn to identify the various herbs found locally and much used. They will master the basics of Italian recipes such as making pizza or pasta, putting together antipasto such as the traditional crostini and caprese salad as well as understanding the presentation of the table. Please ask for further details or the various courses we offer.
Comfort for children with cribs, high chairs, strollers, nannies etc.
We know that it’s the small things… and people… that are the most important! We have all of the above available on request, children require lots of stuff; do ask maybe we can save you some stress and extra luggage! Reliable bi-lingual babysitters are here to give you a break when you need one, or let you sneak out together for supper… after all you too are on holiday
Transfers & Drivers
Unfamiliar road signs, long and winding narrow roads, why not have us arrange to have your met to bring you to your Tuscan Home as well. Together with a car rental car waiting at the house, this provides the perfect solution after a long and sleepless flight! We also have drivers who are happy to accompany you and relieve you of the stress of unfamiliar routes and late night driving.
Event and Wedding planner
What could be more fun, unique or memorable than celebrating that special occasion here in Tuscany, friends and family are important and our houses provide a perfect setting for these gatherings, what better place to celebrate a small and intimate wedding with special guests than an old Tuscan estate or in a medieval palazzo?

Of course half the fun is finding things for yourself and we can give you self guided itineraries but there is nothing like having a local guide to give you an even deeper insight into the Tuscan way of life; discover things usually only the locals are privy to, visit a pecorino cheese farm, taste the delicious wines Chianti or Montalcino and not have to worry about driving; hidden churches, abbeys, hot springs and lesser known artisans for shopping. Tuscany is famous for it’s beautiful gardens… All of which should you choose… all you need do is merely sit back and relax while someone else negotiates all those curves and bends.

The Palio
The lives of the Senese revolve around the Palio. There are ‘contrada’ museums for each quarter, they have their own lawyers and doctors, and crime in Siena is the lowest in the whole of Italy, thanks to this strong bond. There are two weeks that stand our more than any others in the Senese calendar, those preceding and including the day of these famous horse races. The ‘Palio’ is unlike any race that exists and we have the opportunity to be able to offer various possibilities to view the race that takes place twice a year in the suggestive shell shaped piazza, know as ‘Il Campo’ under the watchful eye of the town hall. There are also suppers and processions to attend. It is a once in a lifetime experience to feel and see the excitement.

The prices are controlled by Travelex, and differ depending on a variety of factors, including the amount of people, and the degree of protection.
