Summary
Il Frantoio is a part of
a large estate with several villas that have been refurbished by the same owner
with great attention to detail. Frantoio was originally an ancient olive press
that was totally restored in to a beautiful home. The Tuscan “cotto” tiles, the
beamed ceilings juxtapose seamlessly with the modern comforts and conveniences.
Frantoio is 450 square meters, fully air-conditioned and offers 4
spacious and well appointed guestrooms each with modern en-suite baths
for up to 8 guests. A garden surrounds the four sides of the property offering a
delightful environment for al fresco dining. The location is perfect for
touring as it is 10 minutes away from downtown Lucca, 20 minutes from the coast
and the beach, 20 minutes from Pisa airport, 40 minutes from Florence and very
close to neighboring villages, like Vorno.
